Sometimes my blog posts hit a nerve with readers and they respond with comments. In 2009, the biggest issue of discussion was by far the octuplet mom, Nadya Suleman. Readers had much to say about the birth of her eight babies, especially after discovering that she already had six children. However, other topics also caught the attention of the multiples community in 2009. While the breakup of the Gosselin family dominated the tabloids, some other interesting news about multiples surfaced, including cases of twins conceived by different fathers and an already-pregnant mother conceiving a second baby. Several celebrities became parents to twins this year, such as Charlie Sheen, Roger Federer, and Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker. Finally, some interesting studies revealed new information about multiple birth, including new guidelines for weight gain during twin pregnancy.

Finally, every Wednesday my blog post features the Twins of the Week, a photo submission from my online photo gallery. While the Twins of the Week are always very cute and special, some entries elicited more than their share of comments. They include:
