Twin Baby Names
Why would anyone need Twin Baby NamesWhen you are ready to choose a name for your newly born baby you have many thousand names to pick from and the task can seem a little daunting. Even though you have had 8 or so months of pregnancy to think, as you can imagine, when you have twin babies, you also have double trouble. We are going to look at some of the things that might help you moms and dads decide.
You might consider using anagrams for the two names.
If you have decided on the name you like and then you find that you have twins you could consider the second name to be an anagram of the first name.
For example Mary and Myra. It might need a bit of poetic licence to do this and you might come up with a completely new name.
You could use name which mean similar things; perhaps two flowers, Daisy and Rose; maybe two gemstones like Ruby and Jade; if you are religious you can have two disciples like Matthew and Mark.
Another possibility is to use two name which sound similar like Emma and Gemma or Gabriella and Isabella. I feel that this could cause problems though when you are trying to get one of them to respond to you.
The most common way of doing it however, just seems to be to use the same first letter. The commonest pair of names recently was Jacob and Joshua for twin boys, and Faith and Hope for twin girls.
