As the season switches to spring, families find their calendars filling up with new activities, including a variety of spring sports.

Baseball, softball, soccer… swimming, lacrosse and tennis. The options for kids are numerous. For our family, spring brings the conclusion of basketball and preparation for the summer swim season for one twin, while the other maintains a busy schedule of volleyball throughout the year. As teens, they have definitely settled into their individual pursuits. But as younger kids, they most often took to the field as teammates.

Sports and activities are an important part of many children’s lives. For twins and multiples, it can be an opportunity to cultivate individual interests, or to channel their sense of competition into performance success. What about your family? Answer this week’s Parent’s Poll.
